Board Member Expectations
Each board member is expected to:
Attend monthly board meetings (maximum of nine per year).
Serve on at least one board committee and actively contribute to its initiatives.
Provide a personal financial contribution and/or help raise at least $10,000 annually.
Establish and maintain at least three donor or community partner relationships.
Assist in securing financial and labor resources to support Team Unity Incorporated’s mission.

Key Roles We Are Recruiting For
1. Advocacy Leader
We seek an experienced advocacy professional to lead our efforts in increasing public awareness, influencing policy, and strengthening our community engagement. This leader should have:
A history of successfully implementing advocacy campaigns.
Experience working with local, state, or national policymakers.
Prior nonprofit board experience or formal board training.
2. Connector & Community Builder
We are looking for a well-connected leader passionate about our mission who can leverage their network to support Team Unity’s initiatives. This individual should have:
Strong relationships with decision-makers in government, corporate, or nonprofit sectors.
A track record of supporting causes aligned with Team Unity’s mission.
Prior nonprofit board experience or formal board training.
