He devotes his spare time to coaching sports &#8211; from pickleball to basketball to softball &#8211; with encouragement, patience and ever-present smile.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the summer of 2023, Jerry launched Bradhurst Pickleball &#8211; a twice-weekly meet-up for the Harlem community to learn, practice and play pickleball. And also indulge in the food that Jerry provided and lovingly cooked on a portable grill. It didn\u2019t take long for word to spread far and wide that 152\/Bradhurst was the place to be on Wednesday &#038; Sunday nights.
