Deputy Farmers Market Manager

In collaboration with the Farmers Market Manager oversees day-to-day operations our seasonal, outdoor farmers markets. The manager serves as an on-site representative, working closely with the company’s office team to help ensure the market’s success and spearhead interactions with market vendors, shoppers and the community. The Market Manager should cultivate a sense of ownership of their Farmer’s Market through: • Supervising and managing daily operations to assure a smooth and safe running market • Coordinating with your fellow managers at Market in The Heights to create a dynamic team to cater to vendors and the community.

Associate Market Manager & Volunteers
(CSA/Farm-Share)

In collaboration with the Farmers Market Manager; assist with administrative tasks including: CSA sign-ups, payments, orders, and delivery logistics.
  • Handle all CSA member communication.
  • Deciding box contents with Market Manager.
  • Scheduling CSA market volunteers.
  • Maintain and improve farmers market display material, set-up, and general systems.
  • General field work and participation in projects as needed.

Associate Market Manager & Volunteers
(Food Access Program)

In collaboration with the Farmers Market Manager; assist with administrative tasks including: Food Access Program sign-ups, orders, and delivery logistics.
  • Handle all Food Access Program member communication.
  • Deciding box contents with Market Manager.
  • Scheduling Food Access Program market volunteers.
  • Maintain and improve farmers market display material, set-up, and general systems.
  • General field work and participation in projects as needed.

Associate Market Manager & Volunteers
(Special Events)

In collaboration with the Farmers Market Manager, assist with administrative tasks including: Scheduling special events and set up/delivery logistics.
  • Handle all special events member communication.
  • Deciding placement of special events vendors with Market Manager.
  • Scheduling special event market volunteers.
  • Maintain and improve farmers market display material, set-up, and general systems.
  • General field work and participation in projects as needed.

Associate Market Manager & Volunteers
(Artisan Market)

In collaboration with the Farmers Market Manager, assist with administrative tasks including: Scheduling Artisan market vendors and set up/delivery logistics
  • Handle all Artisan Market member communication.
  • Deciding placement of Artisan vendors with Market Manager.
  • Scheduling Artisan market volunteers.
  • Maintain and improve farmers market display material, set-up, and general systems.
  • General field work and participation in projects as needed.
